the table i didn't know i needed

so, i think we've established that i have a problem. an addiction. and it's called thrifting. last week i had to buy mr. brack a dress shirt for a work function. he said go to goodwill. i said, you don't have to tell me twice. i drove 15 minutes out of the way to try the goodwill in welland. it was alright. got some records, but nothing special... until i drove another 20 minutes to Port Thrift. jackpot! as soon as i walked in the door, there she was...

i thought to myself, this is too good to be true! it's probably not for sale...but it was. for $8. i walked by it. looked at some stuff. walked by it again. looked at some purses, grabbed some hankies, a frame for my whiteboard project. walked by it again. went to the cash and put down my handful of items. i looked at the friendly septuagenarian manning the cash register and before i could think, exclaimed i was also getting that little white table. i had no idea where it was going to go. but i didn't care. and now she's right a home next to my bed where i can look at her anytime i want...
