much to a lot of peoples chagrin, christmas time is fast approaching! i'm super excited because i'm done school (at least for the semester and two pesky exams...) and mr. brack and i are heading to nyc in a few weeks! so, i spent a night setting all of our decorations up and now the living room is all festive and there are more plants for me to kill!

i got my mom one last year for christmas but it was
green with multi-coloured lights...
i might try to steal that back from her...

glitter apples and pears $6 for 25 of each at homesense
and some gold pinecones $2 for like a million of 'em
12 glass pinecones and nuts from homesense: $7
a paint can full of balls for $10 at walmart
fun red, brown, orange and purple bells...
so whenever the dog walks into the tree,
it makes a beautiful sound...
